Qigong for all! Weekly session
Thursdays at 12pm at Havant Plaza
Service Description
Qigong (pronounced chee gong), is an ancient form of exercise from China. It consists of a combination of mindful movements, still postures, meditation, and breathing techniques. Qigong is a holistic practice that connects mind, body, and spirit. Similarly to other traditional Chinese practices, qigong derives from the idea that qi, or life force, flows through the body. If qi becomes blocked, stagnant, or flows too quickly, it can lead to health issues. Qigong aims to restore this balance within the body. Qigong has four components: breathing techniques body postures guided imagery meditation The session starts on Thursday 1st May and is led by local instructor Jamie Beaton in the large public rooms at Havant Plaza. Jamie is offering your first session for FREE! After that, it is £7 a week thereafter, or £30 for 5 sessions.
