We are pleased to announce these brand new walks to our Walk and Talk schedule for 2026! These walks will cover both the Staunton Country Park and Farm. The landscape has been developed over centuries this in depth walk gives you the opportunity to understand the rich History, Heritage and archaeology of Staunton. When visiting the farm side you will explore the walled garden and glasshouse area. Content covered will include; History, Heritage and archaeology of both sites. Walks beginning at the Park will include a quick visit to the farm and walks beginning at the Farm will include a quick visit to the park. Please take note below as to where the walks will begin from: Wednesday 4th March - Staunton Country Park Wednesday 1st April - Staunton Farm Wednesday 6th May - Staunton Country Park Wednesday 3rd June - Staunton Farm Wednesday 1st July - Staunton Country Park Wednesday 5th August - Staunton Farm Wednesday 2nd September - Staunton Country Park Wednesday 7th October - Staunton Farm Wednesday 4th November - Staunton Country Park 📆Wednesday 4th March - first walk of the year! The walks are on the 1st Wednesday of every month. ⏰10 am (2 - 2.5hr walk) 💰FREE - Paid parking available 📍Meet at the entrance to the park from the car park in Staunton Country Park, Petersfield Rd, Havant PO9 5HD or by the Staunton Farm shop, Middle Park Way, Havant PO9 5HB 🅿️Paid parking is available at the Farm or Country park. October to March: Up to 1 hour: £2 Up to 2 hours: £3.50 – £4 Up to 4 hours: £4.50 – £5.50 Full day: £5 – £7 April to September: Up to 1 hour: £2.50 Up to 2 hours: £4.50 – £5 Up to 4 hours: £6 – £8 Full day: £7 – £9.50 🚶➡️Learn about the history and heritage right on your doorstep from HCC Ranger and volunteer leader of the Park's community archaeology group, Simon Walton. 🧑🧑🧒🧒You can book for just yourself, or you can add other people to your booking by selecting number of spaces you require. Please note: Walk and talks are educational events, where there is some walking and standing listening to facts and information! People will be required to be able to access the lower part of the park. If you find accessing different areas of the park a challenge we have an inclusive walk which covers the accessible areas.
