Havant Hidden History walks
Tuesdays on the following dates: 1st April, 3rd June, 5th August, 7th October and 2nd December.
Service Description
We are pleased to offer this bespoke service, being delivered in partnership with the friends of Staunton country park! The team will go into depth about the history of the town centre, including information on the romans and the influence that Staunton had on the town. Please ensure that you check the bookings calendar to see when this specific Havant hidden histories walk is being delivered. If you attended a previous walk, please note that there are 2 walks in the town centre so it is worth returning for the 2nd one! Walks will be delivered on the following dates: 1st April 3rd June 5th August 7th October 2nd December 📍The Spring Arts & Heritage centre 56 East St, Havant PO9 1BS. ⏰10am for 10:15 start meeting at the Spring. 💰This session is FREE but donations are greatly received by the friends of Staunton team. This can be by purchasing one of their information books about Staunton or donating towards their charity directly. 💯The max capacity for this class is 20 people. This is to allow everyone to gather as much clear historical information as they can. Who are the friends of Staunton country park? They are a registered charity with the purpose to promote the preservation, restoration and improvement of Staunton Country Park for the education and benefit of the public. There are lots of opportunities for you to volunteer with them or even join the group and become a friend of Staunton country park!
