Introduction to Sea Swimming This course is for those who can confidently swim in a pool but want to gain vital practical knowledge to safely swim/dip in the sea and experience the joys of being in the open water. We will cover:- • Pre swim risk assessment including tides, currents, wind, waves and weather • How to enter and exit the water safely in different conditions • Breathing techniques • Kit and equipment • Safe rewarming To be allowed to participate in this course, you must be:  comfortable out of your depth  able to tread water  able to swim 10m using a basic stroke. NOTE: This is not a learn to swim course so STRICTLY no non-swimmers. The 5 week course costs £15 and this is to be paid within the first session. There are only 8 spaces available on each course and we expect this to be a popular activity. Once you have booked on you will receive an email from Wix.
