2024 Lawn Bowling Open Day

Service Description

Saturday 25th is National Bowls day, so what better time to come and have a go, for FREE at the lovely Waterlooville Bowling Club! On this open day you can pop in and visit the beautifully refurbished club, have some tasty food, chat to the current club Members and Committee, find out more about the Get Up and Go programme, and most importantly- have a go at Lawn Bowling, with some experienced bowlers on hand to help guide you! Please book below so that we have an idea of who to expect, but feel free to drop in at any time between 9.30am-12.30pm If you enjoy this session there will be the opportunity to book on a 5 week course, starting the following Saturday, 1st June 10am - 12pm (see other listing). NEW for this year - the club has a new adapted wheelchair available (named Bowls Royce!) and adapted sports equipment for those who needed. There is nothing to bring other than clean, flat shoes to wear on the green (bring in a bag), comfortable clothes, and the will to play!
