Winter Walking football sessions

Please note this listing is for our inside sessions from October 4th. The sessions are outside at Front Lawn until then. See other listing for details and booking on. Whether you are not as fit as you used to be, got some mobility issues or a health condition, this session is for all! Come along and have a go in a relaxed friendly group of people. There is not age limit for this, it is for all adults over 18 (up to 100!) who would like to play this great game, at a slower pace. Don't worry if you have never done walking football, it is easy to learn and all the rules will be taught to you. Your first session is FREE and then the sessions are just £3 a week. Payment is made at reception. As this session is heavily funded by Get Up and Go and Horizon leisure (facility) we will be reliant on numbers to keep this activity going. So please come along and have a go even if you aren't sure if it's for you! A coach from Active8 Minds will be present to help with some drills and then there will be some fun games at an informal level. Please complete a Get Up and Go registration form before attending (if you have not done one before). It would be great if you can book on weekly so the coaches know how many people to expect.
