Service Description

Come and try your hand at Lawn Bowling on the all-weather surface at the welcoming and well established Waterlooville Bowling Club. Our last 4 courses have been a huge success, with previous GUAG members helping out on this course! We also have a taster session the week (Saturday 25th May) before if you would like to come along, it's on National Bowls day so there will be lunch and refreshments provided too! (See other listing) The club can facilitate the requirements of all bowlers- from complete beginners to those more experienced- and provide friendly and informal coaching in a fun and supportive environment. Cost is just £2 a week (or you can pay £10 on the first week if you like) NEW for this year - the club has a new adapted wheelchair available (named Bowls Royce!) and adapted sports equipment for those who needed. There is nothing to bring other than clean, flat shoes to wear on the green, comfortable clothes, and the will to play! All equipment is provided, as well as tasty refreshments and a hot drink half way through the morning. After this we invite you will be given the opportunity to become a member of the Club, which is very reasonably priced and gives you access to a year's worth of Bowling as well as opportunities to take part in competitions and tournaments as well lots of social activities!
