Service Description

Heavily discounted 2 hour Stand Up Paddle boarding session for Havant borough residents Have you ever wanted to try Stand Up Paddle boarding but don't have the confidence, skills or equipment available? Stand up paddle boarding is a great way to spend time on the water, a great form of exercise and a great way to clear your mind of your daily routine. Get Up and Go SUP is your chance to have a go, in small groups of 6 for a heavily discounted rate of £15 (RRP £60) which includes 2 hours of tuition and equipment (wetsuits hired in addition if required). We have 6 sessions in total (see other listings) and they are strictly one space per person. The sessions are aimed at people in the Havant Borough with a mild to moderate physical or mental health condition. Please complete the registration form before the booking form *Payment is not required until nearer the time, and there will be an option to pay via cash bank transfer or card reader at the centre. You will be contacted 2 - 3 weeks before. The course is offered by the fully trained team at Sandy Point Watersports, who have a wealth of water-based experience and are committed to delivering a safe and enjoyable activity throughout! The course is run in their lagoon at Hayling Island Sailing club, Hayling Island. There is free parking, changing & toilet facilities and lockers for your kit as well our own watersports shop. Of course, there is also the on-site Bar and Restaurant if you’re looking for something more serious in terms of food and drink whilst enjoying the sun and boat watching afterwards! After your course, If you want to take paddleboarding further in future, feel free to talk to us about our Paddleboarding events and SUP yoga Please note: Participants should be confident in the water, not panic and be able to follow instructions in the event of finding themselves in the water. There is a short walk with your board required. Participants should be able to swim 25 metres unaided. Personal flotation devices are available to participants, if required. .
