Beginner's introduction to Bowls course

Service Description

Come and try your hand at Lawn Bowling at the Leigh park bowls club. This course is all about learning how to play bowls, the rules, meeting new people and having fun! The club can facilitate the requirements of all bowlers- from complete beginners to those more experienced- and provide friendly and informal coaching in a fun and supportive environment, they also have wheelchair access on the green and specialised equipment to accommodate for various disabilities- lawn bowling is for everyone! Please note if you were to take this up as a hobbie after the 6-week beginners course, you will need a wide wheeled chair. 📆Saturdays ⏰10am - 12pm 💰£10 for 6-weeks (This can be paid in one payment or weekly) 📍The Pavilion recreation centre Somborne drive, Havant PO9 5AN 💯This is for anyone aged 18+ ☔Please dress appropriately for all weather (Warm clothes, waterproofs etc) There is nothing to bring other than clean, flat shoes to wear on the green, comfortable clothes, and the will to play! All equipment is provided, as well as refreshments. After this we invite you to become a member of the Club, which offers you access to a year's worth of Bowling as well as opportunities to take part in competitions and tournaments as well as a host of other benefits.
